the "welcome to tiny" crew
A nod to local history, featuring Tiny, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who gave Tiny Township its name in 1822. Rather than name the new township after a famous battle or distant noble family, Lady Sarah Maitland (wife of Sir Peregrine Maitland, who served as Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada) looked down at her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a gentle, elegant, loving little dog, and thought: Tiny. And so the Township of Tiny was born.
